Telephone interpreters can be organised for people who wish to speak to a health professional in a language other than English. You could use an interpreter for your appointments with diabetes educators. There is no cost for using an interpreter.

Translating and interpreting services

Free telephone interpreting services are available across Australia for people with diabetes and their family members. These include:
