Telephone interpreters can be organised for people who wish to speak to a health professional in a language other than English. You could use an interpreter for your appointments with diabetes educators. There is no cost for using an interpreter.

Travellers Aid: free companion service
Travellers Aid offers trained volunteer companions to meet people at the train, bus, tram, or taxi and help them find their way around the city to and from medical appointments, social activities, events or work/education.
