Low cost dental care

Dental Health Services Victoria (DHSV) offers everyday and urgent dental care. Services are offered through the Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne and over 80 community dental clinics.  These services are located throughout metropolitan Melbourne and rural Victoria. To obtain services from these clinics, you need to be eligible to receive public dental care.

Visit the Dental Health Services Victoria website to find out if you are eligible.

Teaching clinics

The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (RDHM) provides general, specialist and emergency dental care to all eligible Victorians. RDHM is a teaching hospital. This means that you may be treated by a variety of dental professionals including students, specialists in training or other qualified staff. If you have a valid Health care or Pensioner Concession Card you may be able to access general or emergency dental care at a teaching clinic.

Most teaching is done at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and the community dental service at Bendigo Health. Teaching also takes place at some community dental clinics.

Visit Dental Health Services Victoria or the community dental service at Bendigo Health to find your nearest community dental clinic or teaching clinic.
