Diabetes Victoria has a range of resources that have been culturally adapted for the Aboriginal community, including our pictorial guides and quarterly e-newsletter Grapevine.

Peer Support

Support groups bring together people who share common experiences, conditions, concerns, goals or interests. They offer people an opportunity to improve their quality of life through mutual support and education. They can also bring about change for themselves and the wider community.

The peer support program is a service offered by Diabetes Victoria to facilitate and empower all members of diabetes support groups. To see where our peer support groups are you can head to: Support Groups | Diabetes Victoria

If you are interested in starting a Peer Support Group, or are already running one and would like to join the Peer Support Program, contact: peersupportgroups@diabetesvic.org.au or call 1300 437 386
