Berry & Walnut Bircher Muesli

Indulge in a wholesome breakfast that intertwines the luscious flavors of ripe berries with the satisfying crunch of walnuts in our Berry & Walnut Bircher Muesli.
Ingredients
- ½ cup (45g) rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 20g (¾oz) linseeds (flaxseeds)
- ½ cup (125ml) skim milk
- 270g (8½oz) YoPRO vanilla yoghurt
- 200g (6½oz) strawberries
- 125g (4oz) raspberries
- 30g (1oz) walnuts
- 1 tablespoon sugar-free maple-flavoured syrup
Method
- Place oats, chia seeds and linseeds in an airtight container. Add the milk and half the yoghurt; stir to combine.
- Finely chop half the strawberries. Add to oat mixture; stir gently to combine. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- The next morning, stir remaining yoghurt into oat mixture. Slice remaining strawberries.
- Divide Bircher muesli between bowls; top with sliced strawberries, raspberries and walnuts. Drizzle with maple syrup.

Dietitian tip: Depending on the time of year, frozen berries are a cheaper option. These are just as good as fresh berries and can be used instead.
