Balancing blood glucose levels

Balancing blood glucose levels
To keep blood glucose levels within target range, you need to balance the amount of food you eat, the physical activity you do and the diabetes medication or insulin you take.

There are a number of things you can do to help you with this balance. Always work with your diabetes management team of health professionals to manage your blood glucose levels. Your doctor and diabetes nurse educator will work with you to help find the right type of support for you.

Speak to a professional

Ask your doctor or diabetes educator for advice about how to manage your diabetes.
