Meet our CEO
I am deeply committed to Diabetes Victoria’s mission to support, empower and campaign for all those affected by, or at risk of, diabetes.
This is a cause for which I have a great passion. My son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes some years ago and I decided to become involved in the work of Diabetes Victoria, to help address this chronic condition which affects millions of Australians.
I took up my role as CEO of Diabetes Victoria in June 2022, having previously been a Board Director for several years and Board President since 2019. From 2019 until my appointment in 2022 I was also Diabetes Victoria’s representative on the Diabetes Australia Board.
Diabetes is the fastest-growing chronic condition in Australia and, with 80 Victorians developing diabetes every day, the work of Diabetes Victoria has never been more important. I am passionate about working and leading Diabetes Victoria to reduce the impact of Diabetes in the Victorian community.
Prior to taking up my role as Diabetes Victoria’s CEO, I was a Senior Partner with PwC where I worked for 33 years including 24 years as a Partner. I held a range of leadership roles with PwC including leadership of the Transformation practice, leading market facing industry practices and leadership of major client accounts across multiple sectors. I advised clients across Health, Government and Corporate Sectors including in the areas of transformation, growth, operations and finance.
