Richard is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer, who provided specialist advice on capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions while a partner at Herbert Smith Freehills for more than 21 years. Richard is now a consultant with the firm and holds several non-executive directorships.
Special responsibilities: Chair of Audit and Risk Committee; and Chair of Commercial Committee.

Kathryn Arndt

Member of the Australian Institute of Company DirectorsKathryn has CEO and non-executive Board Director experience across health services, community-based organisations, financial services and industry associations. Kathryn is currently the CEO of the Victorian Local Governance Association; a Member of the Victorian Ministerial Council on Women’s Equality; Deputy Chair: Access Health & Community; and Company Secretary: Royal Melbourne Tennis Club.

Professor Peter Colman AM

Peter has been a practising Endocrinologist/Diabetologist for over 30 years and Head of the Department of Diabetes and Endocrinology: Royal Melbourne Hospital from 1992 to 2018. Peter was formerly President of the Australian Diabetes Society and a Member of the Diabetes Australia Limited Board.

Erin Ferraris
BComm, MPA
Erin is an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company and has a passion for healthcare. Most of her work has been with hospitals and other healthcare sector clients in the US, UK and Australia, helping them to achieve their strategic and operational goals.
Erin has a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University in Montreal, as well as a Master in Public Administration from the London School of Economics.

Anthony Howard AM KC
B.Juris/LLB, DipCrim
Tony has had a long and distinguished career including as a criminal law judge of the County Court between 2006 and 2016. Tony also worked on the community and international affairs program of his wife, the former Governor of Victoria, the Hon Linda Dessau AC CVO (2015 until end June 2023).
Tony was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2019 for significant service to the law, the judiciary, professional standards and the community of Victoria.
Tony was a member of the Victorian Bar’s Indigenous Lawyers’ Mentoring Program and has been involved in various community and not-for-profit organisations, including as a Trustee of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Neuroscience Foundation, founding Chair of the Essendon Football Club Lawdons coterie and as a Board member of the youth mentoring organisation Big Brothers, Big Sisters.

Dan Jefferson

Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company DirectorsDan is a partner at KPMG and a leader of the firm’s health and human services consulting practice in Victoria. Prior to joining KPMG, Dan was a senior executive at the Victorian Department of Health, including Director of Commissioning for public hospitals and ambulance services and Director, Health Workforce.
Dan’s eldest daughter was diagnosed with type one diabetes in 2021.

Victoria Stevenson

Victoria is a Diabetes Clinical Nurse Consultant at Western Health whose previous experience includes managing diabetes education services at hospitals including The Alfred and Austin Health and working in private practice. Various committee experiences with the ADEA, Conference convenor, Deakin University and Mayfield Education’s Diabetes Certification programs. Awards include the ADEA Jan Baldwin Award for holistic and client – focused diabetes education and care and the Diabetes Victoria Outstanding Contribution Award.
