Spotlight on the Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition (IPAN)

Welcome to ‘Conversations with Diabetes Researchers’, hosted by Megan Reed, community engagement lead. This is the first webinar in an upcoming series. To kick off, we chat to our friends from The Institute of Physical Activity and Nutrition or (IPAN)

The Conversations with Diabetes Researchers webinars have been brought about to break down the barriers between diabetes researchers and the diabetes community.

At Diabetes Victoria, we’re continuously inspired by the work that is being done by these fantastic researchers. Too often people with diabetes don’t know that this work is going on and at we’re committed to improving knowledge sharing from both researchers to the diabetes community and perhaps more importantly from the diabetes community back to the researchers.

IPAN at Deakin University is a world-class research Institute dedicated to understanding the impact of physical activity and nutritional health their work is making significant difference in the lives of people with diabetes and other chronic diseases and we’re really privileged to have three of their esteemed researchers joining us for the first webinar in the series.

Join Meaghan as she leads the panel to hear some incredible insights from, Professor Michelle Keske, Professor David Dunstan, and Dr Elena George.

Please note that this is a recording, the forum for questions is closed.

We recommend that you speak to your health professional team before making any changes to your diabetes management.
