Want to have a say in research to help people better manage type 2 diabetes?
The Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition (IPAN) at Deakin University is a world-leading research institute. We specialise in researching lifestyle approaches for better quality of life and to prevent and manage a range of chronic conditions, including type 2 diabetes. And we want to hear from you!
IPAN’s Consumer Network is a way for people living with type 2 diabetes, of all ages and backgrounds, to use their experience and share their thoughts and ideas on different aspects of our research. Examples of our research in type 2 diabetes include understanding the impact of diet and exercise on blood sugar control; determining the role biology plays in maintaining health and preventing type 2 diabetes; and the design and testing of technologies and digital health tools to support the management of type 2 diabetes.
IPAN is inviting people living with type 2 diabetes to join its Consumer Network. To find out more visit the IPAN website here.
