Richard has been a member of the Diabetes Victoria Board since 2019. He is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer, who was a partner at Herbert Smith Freehills for more than 21 years. Richard now holds several non-executive directorships.
Diabetes Victoria’s representative on the Diabetes Australia Board has also been confirmed, and Ms Kathryn Arndt will assume this role also from 1 June 2022. Kathryn has been a member of the Diabetes Victoria Board since 2007.
Kathryn has CEO and non-executive Board Director experience across health services, communitybased organisations, financial services, and industry associations. Kathryn is currently the CEO of the Victorian Local Governance Association; a Member of the Victorian Gender Equality Committee and Company Secretary: Royal Melbourne Tennis Club.
Current President and Chair Glen Noonan said, “I would like to congratulate Richard and Kathryn on their new positions on the Board.
"We have an excellent Board, which meets regularly to ensure Diabetes Victoria is well governed so it can best represent the interests of its members and all people impacted by diabetes.
