The latest update for the FreeStyle LibreLink app now sends sensor glucose data straight to your phone, with no scanning required.
The app update is available now on iOS and Android. The free update is recommended for the best FreeStyle Libre 2 experience.
There’s no change to the sensor, simply update the app.
When you start your next sensor, you will receive automatic glucose readings on your phone. If you are currently wearing a sensor, you will need to keep scanning that sensor until it ends.
Your minute-by-minute glucose readings will be automatically displayed on your phone via Bluetooth, so you can have feedback on your glucose levels after food, activity, or medicine with just a quick glance at your phone.
If you’re a support person or caregiver, you can now also receive your loved ones’ real-time glucose readings, automatically updated every minute on the LibreLinkUp companion app.
The latest version of the FreeStyle LibreLink app also offers connectivity with the NovoPen® 6, the latest smart insulin pen from Novo Nordisk. This allows you to see your insulin doses and glucose data right on the FreeStyle LibreLink app without manual recording.
Glucose management is now even easier with the FreeStyle Libre 2 system.
